The Federated Democratic Women of Portage County will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, February 28 to consider the appointment of individuals to the Campaign Committee.

Note: As the newly adopted Standing Rules (Article 2.0) establish a standard timeline for the appointment of Campaign Committee members, and for the consideration of endorsement recommendations by the membership, the membership will need to temporarily suspend certain sections of the Standing Rules to allow for the committee to be created and operate outside of the normal timeline. Candidates and Issues will not be considered for endorsement at this meeting. We will only be considering the appointment of Campaign Committee members.

  MOTION: To temporarily suspend Article 2.0 - Section 1, Article 2.0 - Section 2, and Article 2.1 - Section 2-A of the Standing Rules, to allow for the appointment of members to the Campaign Committee, to allow for the committee to meet for the purpose of making recommendations for the endorsement of candidates and/or issues, and to allow for the membership to consider the endorsement of candidates and/or issues after a recommendation has been received.
